Fill the tank with tap water, drop your pieces in, close the lid and press the button. Ultrasonic waves at 45,000 Hz lift dirt, oil and lotion from the places a cloth can't reach. Lift out, rinse, dry.

Do I need a cleaning solution?
No. Tap water works. For oily build-up on glasses, add a drop of dish soap. Any ultrasonic cleaning solution works too.
Will it remove tarnish?
No. Claré lifts dirt, oil, lotion and grime. Tarnish is a chemical change in the metal and needs a polish or a jeweler.
Is it safe for my glasses?
Yes for most glasses and sunglasses. If your lenses have a scratched or peeling coating, skip it, as vibration can lift a coating that's already damaged.
What batteries does it take?
2 AAA batteries. They aren't included, so pick some up before it arrives.
